Berkeley blood-feast update

The Oakland Tribune provides an account today of the surrender of Hamaseh Kianfar, the subject of an AT article yesterday. The Trib's front page offers a photograph of Kianfar, accompanied by her father and her sister.

The San Francisco Chronicle article on the surrender mentions some of the information on Kianfar's invovement in Sufism detailed in AT yesterday, and adds that Kianfar is registered as the owner of Mazda Miata convertible, not a BMW M3. Until today, witness accounts had specified a BMW M3 was used for the getaway. Was another vehicle used, or were witnesses mistaken? How such a positive identification of the make and model could be mistaken is yet another mystery.
