Blair sits down with Libya's Gaddafi

By

After years of Libyan isolation, Tony Blair, the British PM, has arrived in Tripoli this morning for a meeting with Colonel Gaddafi. The American and British good cop/bad cop routine has worked well so far in convincing Libya—region> to give up its WMDs, and settle the Lockerbie compensation package. However, Blair's path remains risky as it's still too early to tell whether Gadaffi's change for the better will be a lasting one.
