More BBC cutbacks

By

The BBC, a left wing propaganda organ, is undergoing a second round of downsizing, cutting another 2050 jobs, following previously announced cuts of 1730 jobs. The total of 3780 jobs to be eliminated amounts to 19 percent of its workforce.

Coasting on its reputation from World War II for decade after decade, the Beeb has become increasingly strident in its left wing spin on the news. Regrettably, the Labour government of Tony Blair has agreed to renew its charter for another ten years, but the price appears to be radical downsizing of its staff.

The long—suffering British houselholds continue to pay about $200 per year each in "license fees" for the privilege of owning a television, which go to support the BBC.
