More BBC distortions

The controversy over Intelligent Design theory has become one of the most fascinating intellectual disputes of our era. Particularly remarkable is the tendency of one side to affirm that it is the sole custodian of scientific inquiry, while at the same time refusing to debate the issues, on the ground that the other side is illegitimate, which amounts to a complete rejection of the foundations of science.

The BBC jumps aboard the latter camp, as ponted out by blogger Peter C. Glover, in wiresfromthebunker. The Beeb has the gall to casually insert President Bush's supposed "hostility to science" in a headline.

Goebbels would be proud.
