Never give Bush any credit

By

The New York Times editorializes on the Afghan situation, where a successful election was carried out for second time since the Taliban was ousted by America and its allies. But the Times does not credit America or, it seems. the Afghan people with being responsible for success.

Yep, all we need is luck and international cooperation. The international cooperation has been minimal and was not responsible for ousting the Taliban. Luck? How about the skilled use of American military power and the braveness of our soldiers? And while the Times is on the subject of opium growing in Afghanistan being a sign of American failure, things are not helped when a Dutch TV show features the host shooting heroin—thereby giving the imprimatur of approval of drug use.
