NYT rewrites history

The New York Times' Elizabeth Bumiller fudges facts today, writing about the first meeting Cindy Sheehan had with Bush. Bumiller writes that Sheehan met with Bush in June 2004 when she said "he was disrespectful' for calling her "Mom". Bumiller leaves out the fact that this is the second and later version of the meeting that Sheehan is peddling. As you know Sheehan's first version of the meeting with Bush was fulsome in its praise of him and his sensitivity and empathy.

The so—called paper of record whitewashes history.
