One flag only
As the child of immigrants who worked so hard, who were so proud of their heritage but never felt that the US government should pay for any personal displays of ethnic or religious symbols, I get angry when I see these dual flag and other cultural artificats in a public school.
Yes, these children are of Mexican descent but their parents left Mexico and came here——most illegally, in all liklihood. Whatever the feelings on what should be done about illegal immigration, the children in the school should realize they are in the US. There are other private venues where they can learn about their cultural heritage.
