PrintSomething strange is going on in Madrid
Franco Aleman, whose Barcepundit blog is an endless source of fascinating information from Spain, is onto a very,very strange set of circumstances surrounding responsibility for the 3/11 terror attacks. America's ABC News plays a role in the somewhat murky drama, according to Madrid's El Mundo newspaper, by having broadcast a fake photo op of a backpack supposedly an unexploded remnant of the terror train bombings.
It is all very complex, and more information is to follow tomorrow. But it may be that a political set—up was achieved, in which the bombing was falsely blamed on al Qaeda, embarrassing and then soon defeating at the polls the pro—US government. All very speculative at the moment.
