The answer is blowing in the wind

From Reuters: J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. <JPM.N> hired Rick Lazio, former U.S. Congressman from New York and past Senate candidate, as executive vice president in charge of government relations and public policy, effective Oct. 1. He will also join the bank's executive committee.

Seems to me that this appointment of Hillary Clinton's former Senate race opponent to JPM's head of government relations as well as to its Executive Committee makes it pretty clear which political party this financial powerhouse believes will come out on top in November.  (Of course it doesn't hurt that there are Republicans as governor and mayor in New York.)
