The NYT and Valerie Plame

By

There were claims that Valerie Plame was outed as a CIA agent* (she wasn't an undercover agent at the time) and that this was a crime on the part of someone in the Bush Administration. It seems to me that the New York Times raised the journalistic equivalent of holy hell re:Plame.

But what about New York Times front—page article yesterday, which revealed names, places, titles, front companies, locations ,etc. of secret CIA—run air fleets and bases? This looks far worse than the Plame affair.

Thanks to reader Seamus McManus for pointing out that she was employed by he CIA at the time — albeit not in an undercover capacity.
