UN suspends with pay Benon Sevan, who is retired.

There is little doubt that Benon Sevan and Joseph J. Stephanide are guilty of perpetrating a fraud on the UN oil—for—food program. The money siphoned from theis program undoubtedly was used to bribe others in the international community and may well have supported terror groups. The UN responds—to suspend with pay a retired man (Sevan)!
