What CBS doesn't get

Larry Henry has a terrific column today on the American Spectator site, titled, "Regular Folks Know a Lot." The basic point is that in order to NOT spot the Rathergate memos as phonies, the CBS mandarins had to be far, far removed from the realities the rest of us face in the course of a normal adult American life course.

But, as is usually the case, getting there is half the fun, when Larry is doing the writing. He expresses so well what we ordinary stiffs go through and learn, as a matter of course. If TAS cared to provide a musical background, it would be Aaron Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man. Read it.
