US taxes pay for terrorist education via the UN
Perhaps the most wretched and corrupt arm of the UN is the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, though there is a lot of competition for that title. UNRWA houses and feeds 75% of the population of Gaza, who are being kept there since 1949 under the demented notion that three or four generations later people still can be considered “refugees” from a homeland they have never set foot in, and to which they are entitled to “return.” They are, in fact, political pawns being used by jihadists for the exclusive purpose of destroying Israel, rather than getting on with their lives, as did, for instance, the roughly equal number of Jews expelled from Arab countries expelled from Arab countries at the time of the founding of Israel, not to mention the many ethnic groups that became refugees at the end of World War II.
Twenty rockets were just discovered hidden in a Gaza school run by UNWRA.
The UN agency for Palestinian Arab "refugees," the UNRWA, said Thursday it was investigating after finding 20 rockets hidden in one of its vacant schools in Gaza, AFP reports.
It condemned the incident as a "flagrant violation" of international law and said the rockets had been removed and the "relevant parties" informed.
"Yesterday, in the course of the regular inspection of its premises, UNRWA discovered approximately 20 rockets hidden in a vacant school in the Gaza Strip," the agency said in a statement.
"UNRWA strongly condemns the group or groups responsible for placing the weapons in one of its installations," it continued. "This is a flagrant violation of the inviolability of its premises under international law."
It said the incident was the first of its kind, warning that it "endangered civilians including staff and put at risk UNRWA's vital mission."
Maybe the agency really was surprised, but consider what it is teaching in its schools, supported by US tax dollars. David Bedein writes in israelnationalnews.com:
…the new curriculum used by UNRWA prepares the organization's half a million students to engage in attempts to "return" - by force of arms - to Arab villages that they have never seen and that existed before 1948, some of which have been replaced by Israeli cities such as BeerSheva, Askhelon and Ashdod - all of which are now pummeled by aerial attacks launched from Gaza, fired under the slogan of the "right of return" by means of "the armed struggle"
