Hillary: Corporations and businesses don't create jobs
Hillary Clinton has gone on the record saying that corporations and businesses don’t crate jobs. Apparently, governments and nonprofits are where everyone works. And where they get the taxes and donations to spend is a mystery one best not probe too deeply. Don’t believe me? Just watch
“Don’t let anybody tell you, don’t let anybody tell you, that uhh you know it’s corporations and businesses that create jobs. You know that old theory, trickle down economics. That has been tied. That has failed.”
It is evident that Hillary -- perhaps out of fear of a challenge from Elizabeth Warren -- has bought into a strategy of pandering to the left Democrat base’s prejudices, in which corporations and businesses are demonized, and the creation of wealth is an issue that is ignored. This is, of course, the policy that has wrecked Venezuela, a resource-rich country that cannot provide even toilet paper, and where the government excuses its own failures and corruption by demonizing the diminishing pool of people with some wealth to their names.
