Recent polling by Rasmussen shows low levels of support for President Obama's amnesty plan:

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 34 percent of likely U.S. voters favor the president's plan to allow the illegal immigrants to remain in this country legally and apply for jobs. That's down only one point from April, but support has been inching down from a high of 40 percent just after the president announced his intentions last November. Most voters (55 percent) still oppose Obama’s executive action on immigration.

In related Rasmussen polling, only 27 percent of Americans think their country is headed in the right direction, with two-thirds believing the nation is going in the wrong direction. These values are essentially unchanged since Obama took office in January 2009.

Even half of Democrats polled think the U.S. is headed in the wrong direction under Obama.
