Confronted with our own decadence

It is interesting that the following article by Minette Marrin should appear in today's Times (London). Yesterday, Theodore Dalrymple, aka Anthony Daniels, was on BookTV speaking at the Manhattan Harvard Club on June 2nd of this year. The occasion was his induction as the first occupant of a recently created chair at the Manhattan Institute. Daniels is not at all sanguine regarding the resurgence of traditional values in England. But Ms. Marrin speaks to this issue after the 7/7 London bombings whereas Mr. Daniels did so prior to the attacks.
