Durbin: use the Paris Hilton cellphone investigator

By

Senator Richard Durbin is asking for a new prosecutor for the Memogate investigation. He sent a letter to Attorney General Gonzales demanding that a new layer be assigned to investigate what has become known as Memogate. A top aid to Senator Frist, Manuel Miranda,  resigned from his job after he admitted reading internal Democratic strategy memos regarding the selection of judges. Durbin is not satisfied with the pace of the investigation  and in his letter to the Attorney General suggests he assign the case to the US Attorney in Massachusetts (gee...think he is a liberal?) who "was able to successfully conclude an investigation into the illegal electronic access of hotel heiress Paris Hilton's cell phone."
Such qualifications!
