Green thumbs down in Japan

Yes, it's just a Web poll and no it's not scientific, but it's distinctly satisfying to look at a Japan—based newspaper's poll on global warming in the land of the Kyoto accord — and note local sentiment finds it wanting.  To the poll question of: "Is the Kyoto Protocol the best solution to curbing emissions of greenhouse gases?" Japan Times' readers show 41.8% saying "no," 38.8% saying "yes" and 19.8% not having any idea. (At last reading.) The international global warming doomsters can't even sell Kyoto in Japan!
