Israeli terror target in Los Angeles?

By

Last year the Wall Street Journal ran a front—page story regarding the role that Muslim imams who visit prisons might play in radicalizing prisoners. This may no longer be simply a theoretical possibility as it seems that some Los Angeles gang members were recently arrested who may have been planning an attack on the Israeli consulate and various temples in the Los Angeles area.

The FBI and other agencies have been investigating the role these preachers of hate have had in converting prisoners to extremist Islam. On of the suspects had recently worked at the Los Angeles airport — the site of the El Al ticket counter attack by an Egyptian in 2002. That attack left two people dead.
