McCain (sigh)

I wonder just how far Senator McCain's well—deserved reputation as a Vietnam war hero and POW will manage to carry him? His flirtations with his buddy, Democratic party presidential candidate John Kerry; his efforts to extend McCain—Feingold restrictions to the blogosphere; and his hinted break with the Republican party over ending the filibuster of judicial nominations all make me wonder just how long conservative Arizonans are willing to tolerate this liberal in Republican cloth.

Now he's advising Sen. Kerry "to stop looking ahead." I trust that Americans in 2008 will not fail to look back at Mr. McCain's legislative and oratorical history, and not just his days as a warrior.
