Media jumping ship?

Stephen Green of Vodkapundit is calling the beginning of the MSM stampede to distance itself from Kerry. He points to Maureen Dowd's appearance on Letterman's show  and a column by William Raspberry of the Washington Post, while posters leaving comments on Vodkapundit also cite Don Imus declaring himself neutral, and Susan Estrich (no stranger to disastrous Democrat campaigns) beginning to say that if Bush wins on the basis of the Swift Boat Vets, it won't be legitimate.
