NYT news judgment

Two big articles from the New York Times, one tof them oday, both trumpeting supposedly genetically based homosexuality. I am ambivalent on the subject, generally taking a libertarian approach about what people do as long as it does not harm others.

The Times takes a  couple of bizarre studies and gives them front—page treatment. Pushing an agenda here? Today's one is based on fruit flies (!) where a gene shift purportedly shifts sexual orientation. The other regarding a Swedish study that states that homosexual men and heterosexual men respond differently to two odors that may be involved in sexual arousal and hence their arousal towards other men might have a genetic component.  I have not read the first of these two news stories anywhere else.
