Hot spot
Mediacrity, one of my favorite new blogs, must be the nightmare site of New York Times "public editor" (ombudsman) Barney Calame. Of course, being P.E. for the Gray Lady is no bargain in any event. One has to project the appearance of concern over readers' objections to material appearing in the Times, but at the same time there is a vast territory directly relating to the extreme bias engulfing the paper which remains utterly off limits.
No questions regarding the long silence of Times regarding the scandal engulfing its pet radio network, Air America, for instance. But Mediacrity notices the actual issues which bestir the NYTPE into actual blogging.
