Stupid leftist memes

A strange notion is afoot among the leftists. Anyone who favors tort reform is presumed to be a hypocrite if they ever have sued anyone. The latest to jump on the meme is Josh Marshall, who posts an article about Sen. Rick Santorum's wife's lawsuit against a chiropractor who injured her.

By conflating use and abuse, and by creating a ridiculous standard that any reformer should not use the redress affered by our civil courts, the left resorts to nonsense. It would be the equivalent of conservatives demanding that critics of tax cuts never take a tax deduction even for a legitimate expense.
